This morning I saw a picture of crossing through deep deep water, deeper than had ever been before and at times it felt like it could overwhelm but then eventually we came out the other side to new possibilities and opportunities.
I believe there are some who are feeling like this this morning that you are walking through stuff that is you feel too much for you to handle and you will be overcome, but the Lord would say to you this morning…
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you,
I have summoned you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you,
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you…
Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Isaiah 43:1-5
What struck me when writing this is that is very much temporary, it is crossing over from one place to the next and in coming out the other side, there are new things, unique things, perfectly made for you.
Recently I have seen quite a few pictures of being in ‘deep water’ but for me that is an encouragement that we are growing in the Lord, no longer in the shallow places but going deeper in him, deeper in trust, deeper in surrender and allow him him to take us places we may not have been before.
So I encourage you, it is just a place you may be in at the moment but you will not be overcome and you will come out the other side to those new things He has for you.
